It was someone she is disappointed in such as a lawyer, policeman, judge etc. The person involved was paid for their help. They have a clear love for money and wealth.

From the read it is clear that the husband was involved in the murder whether directly or through the help of someone else. This other person is in a position of trust in the community and has benefited from the murder by the way of wealth.
